The Panjab Government has earmarked land for a Medi-City in the approved Master Plan of New Chandigarh. A private entrepreneur proposes to augment the health care facilities of the New Chandigarh region and has been allotted a parcel of land measuring 5 acres in the Medi-City for constructing a 200-bedded hospital.
The problem demanded a design proposal for this hospital after understanding its functional zones within the overall goal of facilitating the patients as well as create an excellent ambiance for the doctors, nurses, paramedical as well as technical personnel and all other stakeholders.
